The Learning Curve #1: Creating Is Hard

Not like hitting your fist against a brick wall sort of hard. Like the gut-wrenching, headache inducing sort of hard. The hard that comes on at random. The kind that's excessive when it doesn't need to be.

It's emotional. It's personal. You want so badly for your vision to happen and yet it can feels like it won't.

The only thing I've found is to keep pushing, keep moving forward. You aren't aware of it, but you're growing.

Not the sort of growth that happens before your very eyes. No, not magic beanstalk growth.

More like paint drying growth.

Like cloud-watching growth.

The needed growth to make your vision a reality.

You know it's happening, but you can't really be sure until enough time has passed.

Creating is hard, but it sure is a blast.
